WFXR speaks with AgeWell's Matthew Fullen about older adult wellness and new grant
Roanoke's news station WFXR interviewed AgeWell founder Matthew Fullen about the importance of wellness in older adulthood and the recent grant to develop a wellness coaching program for seniors.
Fullen spoke with Kianna Price on the WFXR program Loving Living Local about his work and AgeWell's continued focus on improving older adults’ access to mental health resources:
Fullen was also featured during WFXR's regular TV news program. “Older adulthood is not just what’s leftover at the end of life,” he said. “It is its own distinct life phase and something that if we invested both as individuals but also as a community, then it’s something that we can really get the best out of and that’s what we hope to do through this wellness coaching program.”
